A Story of Resilience

My name is Craig Brown and this site is my last act of defiance. It is the opposite of modern web design. But don't mistake it for being simplistic— this early hacker look required complex coding. Yet the entire page is old-school, hand-coded HTML.

About Me:

As one of the original group of tinkerers that called themselves "hackers", I contributed to many major innovations since then. Most notably, I built the first commercially available artificial intelligence.

I spent my life breaking through barriers: I worked with the fairness-in-tech group that later became the first diversity advisory group; advocated for children with learning disabilities as a Special Education Surrogate Parent for children taken in by DCF; founded the largest layoff support network in the US to help people laid off in the previous recession. I even traveled to Russia to confront the rising threat of cyber warfare firsthand.

For the past 12 years, I worked a full-time job while building the most advanced information security software platform in existence. I worked seven days a week— pushing through the COVID pandemic, divorce, and a life-threatening health crisis.

But there's one obstacle I can't get past: the age barrier. I hope to sell my complete invention to investors who were at one time executives in the software industry. The product is a unicorn if managed by people with real experience.
